About Autism Resource Centre (Singapore)

Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) or ARC(S), is a not-for-profit charity based in Singapore and registered in year 2000. It was started by professional and parent volunteers dedicated to serving children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to help these individuals lead meaningful and independent lives in society.

ARC(S) adopts a co-ordinated, multi-pronged approach to serving individuals with ASD through awareness, advocacy and empowerment.

    Highlight the needs of individuals with autism and to increase understanding of the disorder

    Advocate for a wide range of services that will enable individuals with autism to maximise their potential
  • EMPOWERMENT
    Empower individuals with autism, their parents and caregivers as well as the professional team, through education and training

  • The annual fundraising event, a Very Special Walk (AVSW) morphed into A Very Special Concert 2014 (AVSC 2014)
  • The Harvard Din & Tonics all male jazz a cappella group performed with Pathlight Youth Choir
  • AVSC 2014 was held at Singapore Polytechnic Convention Centre and attracted an audience of more than 1,000
  • The concert also featured Singapore Polytechnic’s a cappella group, Vocal Talents
  • Minister for Education Mr Heng Swee Keat was Guest of Honour
  • The event grossed a record $678,000 for ARC’s Employability and Employment Centre E2C Village @ Redhill

  • The Singapore Ireland Fund organised a charity ball at St Regis
  • The event raised $250,000 for development of The Art Faculty at ARC E2C Village @ Redhill
  • The amount of S$250, 000 was matched dollar-for-dollar by Community Chest under its Care & Share scheme in celebration of SG50
  • The Art Faculty is a project dedicated to raise awareness as well as further develop and promote the artistic talents of people with autism
  • Mr Wee Kok Wah’s associates celebrated his birthday with donations of $25,658 to ARC
  • Telechoice Int’l Ltd management and staff sponsored duck tours worth S$20,234 for Pathlight School students and teachers
