WeCAN Early Intervention Programme (EIP)

WeCAN Early Intervention Programme (EIP) provides direct autism early intervention to young children on the autism spectrum.

The programme incorporates international best practices in early intervention. Individualised early intervention approaches and transition planning are professionally formulated in consultation with parents. The programme's unique parent education component imparts specific strategies for parent(s)/caregiver(s) to support their child at home and out in the community.

WeCAN EIP has improved student outcomes through a clearer and more focused programme implementation process. 100% of the students made progress and 100% of parents who provided feedback were satisfied with the programme.

Collaboration with Eden Children’s Centre, Autism Association (Singapore)

Autism Association Singapore or AA(S) consolidated their two Eden Children’s Centre in December 2018. WeCAN EIP collaborated with AAS to support the transfer of staff and 18 students from AAS’ Eden Children’s Centre at Simei.

WeCAN EIP plans to implement an early intervention continuum of service provisions based on the learning and developmental needs of children on the autism spectrum.
