2020 marks the 20th anniversary of the founding of Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) or ARC(S). It is a significant milestone; and a testament to the love and commitment of the many who have toiled to better the lives of the autism community in Singapore.
Young children whom ARC has served are now adults. They and other adults on the spectrum have spurred the ARC team to extend our services to the adult space. Much remains to be done as we learn more about their needs in lifelong learning, employment, daily living and life after the passing on of their caregivers.
As Singapore deals with the economic and social disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, great challenges and possibly opportunities will be faced by all in our nation. Rapid changes, some to do with technological advances, are taking place at both the home and work fronts.
The autism community, like everyone else, will have to adapt to these changes to ensure that no one is left behind. ARC will have to exercise agility in learning and seeking new and innovative services in education, employment and training. Existing and new partnerships will need to be forged simply because no one can do it alone.
ARC will continue to work with persons on the autism spectrum and other key stakeholders to push ahead with the Autism Enabling Masterplan to create a better life for all.
On behalf of the ARC Management Committee, please accept my deepest appreciation to all staff, volunteers, partners, sponsors and everyone else for sharing your precious time and resources with us. Thank you for standing by us.

Autism Resource Centre (S) aims to provide affordable, high-quality programmes and services for all. However, it takes a village to transform lives and we cannot do it alone.
About 40% of our beneficiaries are from lower-income families. Our services for adults are operating at losses. We need your support to continue offering quality programmes to our beneficiaries. Your donations will make a difference!
Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) or ARC(S) is a not-for-profit charity based in Singapore and registered in year 2000. It was started by professional and parent volunteers dedicated to serving children and adults on the autism spectrum to help them lead meaningful and independent lives in society.
